With the advent of the new year, we at Reynolds Group Home have taken a very active initiative in the continuing development of the Group Programming structure. The staff have continued collaboration on the creation and execution of material structured to shape and bring direction to the thoughts and perspectives of the resident group. The residents have been called upon with increasing frequency to facilitate these discussions, and are often provided a framework from which to capture their own style and deliver their message. The opportunity for the guys to share within their peer group, without fear of exposure or ridicule may be among the greatest tools at their disposal to re-evaluate their choices and lifestyle.
Featured below are some of the categories and areas of focus shared with the guys within our program. Please feel free to contact Rick Ferree at Reynolds Group Home if you would like additional details.
Marathon Youth Services
Featured below are listings of the multiple Group Discussion/Workshops that are provided as a core curriculum at Marathon Youth Services. There are many sub-components to these topic areas, with an emphasis on tailoring the materials to best enhance the dynamics of a group interaction. This is necessary with rotation of adolescents through the Program, and to ensure our responsiveness to the individual MYS client. While the listing below is comprehensive of general topic areas, it is important to maintain the flexibility to address unforeseen issues for discussion, and the inclusion of external group presentation opportunities from various outside resources.
